We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of our men and women serving in the Armed Forces of the United States and especially your support during the ongoing conflicts in both Iraq and Afghanistan. The 2010 Great Lakes Navy Ball which will be held on October 10, 2010 for the purpose of raising funds for The USO of Illinois and The Navy League of the United States, Lake County Council both are non-profit organizations. The USO’s mission is to support the troops by providing morale, welfare and recreation services to our men and women in uniform. The Navy League’s mission is twofold: educational and motivational. They must raise interest and report to the citizens of our country the condition of our naval and maritime forces and their capabilities.
